Basketball star LeBron James declared Tuesday “Hater Day” on his twitter account.
He shared racist tweets that he had received. He told ESPN that he wanted everyone to see what people were saying to him and all professional athletes.
One person tweeted that LeBron is “a big nosed big lipped bug eyed (racial slur).” OMG!!!
LeBron came back though, he said, “U see world how people feel! Just use it as extra motivation in whatever u do best! No one can stop your dreams from becoming reality!”
He said that race was a factor in the backlash he got when he left Cleveland to join the Miami Heat.
This is horrible! We should be past this kind of negative behavior.
