Star magazine is reporting that the fabulous Leighton Meester of Gossip Girl was born behind bars!
Yes, in jail!!!
Apparently, the starlet was born while her mother was serving a federal prison sentence in Texas.
Her mom was allowed to stay in a halfway house for the birth but had to return to prison on the day Leighton turned three months.
Leighton was raised by a relative while her momma did time for her role in a major drug-running ring!!!
AND, Leighton’s mom isn’t the only member of her family who’s done time. Her dad, granddad and aunt were all jailed for drug dealing.
Scandalicious!!!!!!!!
We respect the up-and-comer for achieving all that she has, despite the craziness in her life.
See, y’all, doesn’t matter where you come from! It’s what you make yourself to be!
Who would’ve guessed that a kid of drug dealers could pull off Park Avenue princess so well?!
