Leonardo DiCaprio went all-out for his huge, A-list, star-studded 50th birthday bash on Saturday night! But, you know, quietly. And you can understand why…
OK, so the deets on the party… According to a source spilling to People, Leo “had a family and friends dinner first, and then after was the big party.” That included his parents, George DiCaprio and Irmelin Indenbirken, as well as their respective spouses. They reportedly were at the party, too — so we guess it didn’t get too rowdy!
But the big move to a private residence, that’s when the stars came out. According to reports, stars in attendance included Brad Pitt, Paris Hilton, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro, Dr. Dre, Cara Delevingne, Edward Norton, Benicio del Toro, Emile Hirsch, Chris Rock, Tyga, Teyana Taylor, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, Anderson .Paak, Bill Maher, Robin Thicke and April Love Geary, Joker director Todd Phillips, Odell Beckham Jr., as well as his oldest “P***y Posse” pals Tobey Maguire and Kevin Connolly. And so many more! Page Six reports 500 guests in attendance! Wow!

According to their source, many of the attendees had been at the Baby2Baby Gala beforehand, and it basically served as the after party for that event as so many were headed over anyway:
“Basically, the Baby2Baby group all went to Leo’s after.”
There were a couple paparazzi pics, but not many at all…
So how did he manage to keep such a celeb-packed shindig on the DL? For the milestone, Leo booked a place at the San Vicente Bungalows in the Hollywood Hills. The place is known for its discretion — famously kicking out a member in 2021 for letting the paps know Justin Bieber was there.
He also did something really clever. There was a no camera policy — but the place was able to enforce it with stickers of all things! They had stickers made to cover the cameras on the phones of all the guests, ensuring no one was tempted to sneak a selfie or two. Per Page Six, they made 700 stickers just in case! Wow!
As for why he’d keep things so private? Well…
Recently he was one of many celebs seen in raunchy resurfaced pics of one of Diddy‘s very first White Parties in the late ’90s. Considering the controversy surrounding huge celebrity parties right now, with him smack dab in the middle, you can see why he’d maybe want to keep things a bit low-key.
We mean… Low-key for 500 celebrity guests, obviously!
We guess it worked! People‘s source told them Leo had a ball:
“He was incredibly happy and hugging all his guests. Leo was on a high the whole night.”
What do YOU think about Leo throwing a huge (but quiet) party like this right now? You only turn 50 once, right?
