During the taping of Monday’s Late Show, host David Letterman gave another public apology regarding the joke he made last week about Sarah Palin‘s trip to NYC and her 14-year-old daughter, Willow, that was actually meant for teenage mama, now 18-year-old Bristol Pailn.
The funny man stated:
“I told a bad joke. I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception. It’s not your fault that it was misunderstood, it’s my fault. So I would like to apologize, especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke. I’m sorry about it and I’ll try to do better in the future. Thank you very much.”
Since the failed Vice Presidential candidate wouldn’t let this misunderstanding go, Letterman was practically bullied into an apology.
The Palin’s need to get over it!!!!!
