Could this be a taste of things to come for Leno, now that Conan’s show is returning?
Letterman had tied Leno 3 weeks ago among adults 18-49, and they remained tied for the past 3 weeks, but now Letterman has surpassed Leno.
The Late Show surpassed The Tonight Show in all categories.
For those of you interested in some numbers, here’s how both shows’ ratings ended up last week:
-adults 18-49 (1.0/4 vs. 0.9/4 for Leno)
-adults 25-54 (1.3/5 vs. 1.2/5)
-total viewers (3.8 million vs. 3.6 million)
Guess we’ll see if Leno’s able to pick up more viewers this week, before Conan returns and obliterates both of their ratings!
