Sarah Palin must have been highly medicated rehearsed before stepping out for her Oprah interview, because despite the very brutal, public feud between her and her daughter’s babydaddy, Levi Johnston, she invited him over for the holidays on the air.
She told Oprah:
“It’s lovely to think that he would ever even consider such a thing..Because he is a part of the family and you want to bring him in the fold and kind of under your wing. And he needs that, too, Oprah. I think he needs to know that he is loved and he has the most beautiful child and this can all work out for good…We don’t have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama all the time.”
Wow. We’d almost buy that if she wasn’t also trying to sell a book in which she SLAMS him!

The interview, which airs Monday, also covers some other hot button topics, like her rambling interview with Katie Couric, her John McCain handlers and the Emmy Award winning mockery on Saturday Night Live.
