Liam Hemsworth Warned To Get His Divorce Documents In Order With Miley Cyrus Or Face The Court!

The clock is ticking for Liam Hemsworth!

As we all know, the actor filed for divorce from Miley Cyrus back in August, less than two weeks after it was announced the couple was separating.

Clearly the Aussie wasn’t looking back, but he’s going to have to get it together if he still wants to legally end his marriage from the songstress. According to a notice sent by the Los Angeles superior court to his attorney on December 3, his divorce case is “not complete.”

If Hemsworth wants to continue with his filing, he must have documents delivered to his ex and then file paperwork about those documents with the court.

You can’t forget Miley!!

As long as Liam’s team gets his papers filed… or if he requests to dismiss the whole divorce case, he won’t have to show up to a hearing for his status conference scheduled on January 21. Otherwise, he’ll have to face a fine.

But the 29-year-old better get his lawyer on the task soon, because the court warned they may dismiss the case for delay in prosecution if he fails to “take the appropriate steps.”

We’re pretty sure that’s the last thing they both would want, considering they’ve moved on to new partners since their split!

While Cyrus has been keeping busy with Cody Simpson, her former love is supposedly comforting his heartbreak with actress Maddison Brown. The Australian starlet most recently made headlines when she refused to speak about in her love life in an interview.

In a sit-down with Confidential, the 22-year-old shut down the interviewer when it came to the topic:

“I’m not answering that question. My rule is not talking about my personal life.”

Not like she doesn’t understand why the question was asked in the first place, Maddison explained:

“But again, I can understand it from an objective point of view why people are interested and again, it’s not really in my day-to-day reality. I understand it, it’s human nature. Everyone wants gossip. It doesn’t really bother me too much I don’t really pay attention to it. I’ve been pretty consistent with maintaining my privacy. I’ve made it clear that I would like to be private.”

Well, we have to believe she’s rooting for The Hunger Games actor to get the proper papers in order so he can continue with his divorce!

Still, it makes us wonder how Hemsworth’s team could have let it slip in the first place?? Think it was a purposeful tactic in case he changed his mind about the whole split?
