It’s actually happening!
It was reported this week that some of the cast of Love Actually would be reuniting to make a short film for Red Nose Day, the star studded event that supports British charity Comic Relief.
Since Love Actually director Richard Curtis co-founded the charity in 1985, it’s about damn time he reunited the cast of the beloved holiday rom-com for a good cause!
And it looks like filming has already begun! Emma Freund, the script editor for Love Actually, shared a few pictures from set featuring Liam Neeson back in that toasty turtleneck.

The scene shot featured Neeson (Daniel) and Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Daniel’s step-son, Sam) at the location where the two talked about Sam’s crush Johanna in the original film:

And it looks like one of the character’s still has their happy ending, as *SPOILER ALERT* Olivia Olson also reprised her role as Johanna — and hot damn, did she grow up!
Here she is with Curtis, looking a bit older than we last saw her:

Other stars from the film set to reprise their characters for the mini-sequel include Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Andrew Lincoln, and Rowan Atkinson!
Keep your eye out for Red Nose Day Actually on March 24 on BBC One — or if you’re stateside, the sequel short will be shown during Red Nose Day USA on May 25 on NBC!
