Back on the romantic holiday nearly two weeks ago, Liam Payne posted a pic of a rose to his Instagram account, with the message “Happy Valentine’s Day, baby” attached.

Now, with reports of a relationship between him and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini surfacing, it looks like we’ve got a little more insight into who exactly this post (below) was mean for at the time:

Even more inneresting is the response all of this has garnered from Cheryl’s soon-to-be officially ex-husband, Jean-Bernard.
His IG account is locked, but he posted the following message with a pic recently (below):
“I never knew how strong I was until I had to forgive someone who wasn’t sorry, and accept an apology I never received.”
