Talk about a let down!
On Thursday, after much speculation, Attitude magazine finally confirmed that One Direction band member Liam Payne was exclusively on the cover of their October issue.
As you may recall last month, the 22-year-old got into hot water when many accused him of making a homophobic remark in concert.

Thus, one could construe that the heartthrob wanted to clear the air by appearing in the publication, which identifies as gay lifestyle magazine.
However, when the two covers were released, 1D fanatics across the globe collectively thought the same thing:
WHY THE HELL ISN’T HE SHIRTLESS?!
In one of the pics, the singer is wearing a La Perla shirt where the only thing that’s mesh are the sleeves!
And even worse, in the second snap, he’s wearing a THICK denim button up!
What gives dude?!
Before both covers debuted, Directioners had HIGH expectations regarding the attire — or lack thereof — that Payne would wear.

Many asked what was even the point of him covering a gay magazine if he wasn’t going to be scantily clad.

In fact, it doesn’t seem fair given that past cover models such as Tom Daley and Matthew Lewis totally exposed their goods!

Hell, pretty much ALL of Attitude‘s covers have featured men in way sexier getups.

To be fair, the issue doesn’t drop until September 16 and there could very well be a chance Liam will show us what he’s working with INSIDE the mag!
But until then, we are COMPLETELY disappointed!
