Wanna pretend you’re like parents Kate Middleton or Prince William?
Well, you’re in luck!
Because a new toy modeled after Prince George will soon be out on the UK market for as little as £47.99 which is about 77 US dollars!
There are SUPER strict rules preventing toy companies from cashing in on the Royal Family’s image, so there could be legal consequences for this toy manufacturer, but the German based company Zapf Creation insists their new baby doll is not supposed to be an exact replication of the famous royal baby.
Despite the fact that it has a totally British baby outfit and the inscription on the toy reads BABY GEORGE.
Here’s what the company’s spokesperson said:
“This isn├óΓé¼Γäót specifically ├óΓé¼┼ôRoyal Baby George├óΓé¼┬¥ doll, rather an addition to the Baby Annabell Brother range, named George. This is a reflection of George no doubt becoming a popular boy├óΓé¼Γäós name. The royal doll features a beautiful regal-themed outfit. When your little prince or princess looks after him, Baby George will respond by making realistic sounds and facial expressions. If Baby George starts crying, he can be comforted by singing a lullaby and when soothed he will respond with a contented sigh or a giggle.”
The Lord Chamberlain├óΓé¼Γäós Office, who handle the royal family’s intellectual property, are not expected to take any legal action against the toy makers.
But it’s so obviously a life sized version of Prince George despite what the company says. Which means if your little girl or boy wants to be a parent of a royal baby!
They may get their wish this year on Christmas!!!
