After the success of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s cleavagedrama-filled Client List, we aren’t surprised Lifetime is developing MORE original content with strong female leads.
Remember Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling? The fictional FBI Agent who caught semen with her face Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs?
She’s getting a spin-off!
Clarice takes place after the young agent graduates from the FBI Academy but before the events in the film Hannibal, where Agent Starling — that time portrayed by Julianne Moore — falls in love with Anthony Hopkins├óΓé¼Γäó titular cannibal.
Coincidentally, a different TV show focusing on Hannibal ‘the Cannibal’ also hits the small screen this fall on NBC.
We can’t wait to see which up-and-coming starlet Lifetime will choose to play the young heroine!!
