Lil’ Wayne needs to better screen his workers!
The self-proclaimed “pretty boy” is facing gun charges and his assistant, Terry Bourgeois, testified in court yesterday that he only “occasionally” saw a handgun and people smoking weed on the tour bus.
That’s gonna absolve him of all charges!!!!!! Suuure.
Hey, at least he didn’t purger himself!
Bourgeois did say he never saw Lil’ Wayne with a gun. However, he claims he didn’t know whether one was on the bus back in July of last year, when Wayne was arrested on gun charges.
According to a police officer, she boarded the rapper’s bus after he performed at a concert, saying she smelled marijuana. While getting on board, she claims she saw him try to hide a gun.
But Lil’ Wayne’s attorney wants the charges dismissed.
Attorney Stacey Richman says that the cops fasley claimed they smelled weed only to illegally board the bus.
A cop lie? Never!
Wayne has pleaded not guilty and has been released on $70,000 bail.
However, there was a gun found on board and it is registered to Cortez Bryant, Wayne’s manager.
And if convicted, Bryant can face up to 3.5 years in prison.
Shady.
