Lily Cole Gets Awful Acting Reviews

Looks like Lily Cole should stick to modeling.
The cutie has gotten some awful reviews for her stage debut in The Seagull at Cambridge University.
Despite doing well in The Imagination of Doctor Parnassus, Lily’s acting abilities didn’t come off as well in her stage show.
Cole plays Nina in the show, but the audience wasn’t feeling it, with one saying:

“The cast were very professional and the play was really well acted, but sadly I felt that Lily was the weakest link. She appeared to be very nervous to start with and you could see the pressure is on for her to perform well.”

And it doesn’t end there. They go on to reveal that:

“Unfortunately her posture was quite wooden, her dialogue seemed quite stilted and her acting was very exaggerated. It was quite disappointing, but it must be hard as everyone is focusing on her.”

Even the university’s newspaper, The Varsity, had some negative comments giving the show two out of five stars.
The paper stated:

“It was disappointing to see so many careless blunders from this experienced cast, including slipped lines and clumsiness with props.
The best acting was the worst. Cole was great in Constantin’s embarrassing play, milking its empty excess with a captivating presence which culminated in a series of laughable (in the best possible way) convulsions.
The Seagull shows “flashes of competence”. Ultimately, however, this production was even more disappointing than it was anticipated.├óΓé¼┬¥

Maybe she should take all of this as constructive criticism and focus on her acting even more.
