Let’s be real, most photo shoots in magazines are pretty derivative and predictable, but once in a while, magic really does happen.
Like Lily Collins wearing a blue mohawk in the September issue of Flaunt magazine! She looks BADASS!
In fact, doesn’t she remind you of Rooney Mara in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo? Who would’ve thought sweet little Lily had such a compelling dark side!
We especially love the image of her shooting the camera a saucy look dressed in thigh-high Missoni stockings and Chanel boots.
On the cover, she resembles a warrior goddess in an embellished tartan Blumarine floor-grazing coat and studded leather Diesel jeans. We would NOT wanna mess with that girl!
As great as she looks in the spread, the actress admits she hasn’t quite put her finger on her style yet, saying:
“As much as I love helping pick out clothes for other people, I think it├óΓé¼Γäós so difficult when I can├óΓé¼Γäót even figure out what is totally my style. I think it takes a really good eye to mix prints, and the stylists who I work with are incredible├óΓé¼┬ªI can go, ├óΓé¼╦£I don├óΓé¼Γäót know,├óΓé¼Γäó and then try it on and say ├óΓé¼╦£Oh, my God you are so right,├óΓé¼Γäó but I could have never put it together.”
Now that she’s 24, she’s also maturing a bit with her outfit choices. She explained:
“I like to have fun and experiment and only recently in the past year and a half, I├óΓé¼Γäóve started to try being a bit edger├óΓé¼┬ªNot overtly sexy, because I would never do that, but a classy refined version of sexy, just a bit older. I├óΓé¼Γäóm a bit schizophrenic in my fashion. One day I├óΓé¼Γäóm wearing ripped jeans and lighter tones, and the next day I want to be really dark and edgy.”
That’s not a bad thing — variety is the spice of life!
