After more than four decades together, Lily Tomlin and her partner Jane Wagner may finally take a walk down the aisle!!!
At a pre-Emmy party on Monday, Lily revealed that since the recent rulings on DOMA and Prop 8, the couple has talked about making their endless love official for real:
“Jane and I have been together for 42 years. We’re thinking maybe we’ll get married. You don’t really need to get married, but marriage is awfully nice. Everybody I know who got married, they say it really makes a difference. They feel very very happy about it.”
The 9 To 5 actress is 73 and her partner Jane, 78, so they never thought same sex marriage legal in their lifetime:
“You didn’t think that would happen. It’s pretty remarkable.”
Well it’s a reality, Lil!
