Lindsay Lohan is indeed having trouble in paradise.
Last weekend, the 28-year-old posted a message on Twitter telling fans that while vacationing in French Polynesia, she contracted a rare, untreatable virus.

She wrote:

Chikungunya?! Sounds nasty!
The virus is transmitted through mosquito bites and causes fever, joint paint, fatigue, and a rash.
However, the next day the Mean Girls star posted a pic and message on Instagram where she refused to let her illness affect her holidays!
She posted:
In good faith with good people. I refuse to let a virus effect my peaceful vacation 🙏 be safe and happy on the new year all ❤️#wildfox and a positive, healthy new year 💙

What a great attitude, girl!
We just hope Lindsay feels better — she was spotted at LAX yesterday looking pretty darn good considering the health demons she’s dealing with!
