Cops are REALLY wanting to talk to Lindsay Lohan … NOW!!
A witness, who comes from the alleged assault victim’s side of the story, is telling police Linds was the one who instigated the now infamous fight at the Standard Hotel!!
According to her, it was all over a “bump!”
While LiLo and Marisa Dugas sat in neighboring booths a few weeks back, the witness claims Lindsay tapped Marisa and said, “Did you bump me?”
Marisa of course denied it and pinned the blame on a man in Lindsay’s group — her father, Michael Lohan — to which Lindsay replied, “That’s my dad! Why would he bump me?”
The girl shot back, “You go clubbing with your dad!?!”
(No, srsly, she was hanging out with her dad??? Doesn’t she avoid him???)
And that’s when things got UGLY!!! The witness says Linds snapped and threw a drink in the girl’s face!!
So now police REALLY WANT Lindsay’s side of the story!!!! Like ASAP!!
A source close to the investigation reveals:
Law enforcement had been in contact with Lindsay’s attorney last week, and they wanted to formally interview her. The lead investigator was told that Lindsay wasn’t going to be made available at this time though. She is under no obligation to be interviewed, but Marisa, her friend and the bouncer who witnessed the alleged assault, have all been formally interviewed by cops.
Linds, we know you’re probably feeling like crap now that surveillance footage proved you were lying about your whereabouts that night, but just go in and get it over with!!
The longer you wait, the ickier it could get!!
