Lindsay Lohan Honors Late Ex-BF Harry Morton With Touching Tribute

Lindsay Lohan is paying tribute to her late ex-boyfriend.

On Saturday, restaurateur Harry Morton, whom LiLo dated in 2006, died at the age of 38. On Sunday, the 33-year-old shared a brief, yet touching post dedicated to her late love.

Along with the caption: “Best friends. Best life.,” the Freaky Friday star shared a sweet image of the then-couple attending the 63rd annual Venice Film Festival in September 2006.

As reported by KCAL, the Pink Taco founder was pronounced dead at 5:28 p.m. on Saturday. A coroner’s office spokesperson stated:

“The autopsy and report are incomplete at this time, and will probably be completed in a couple of days.”

A Beverly Hills Police Department spokesperson shared with People how Harry was found dead in his Beverly Hills home on Saturday, with a source revealing to the publication his younger brother Matthew Morton was the one who discovered him. The cause of death is currently unknown.

Pink Taco issued a heartfelt statement (below) about the founder and previous owner’s passing:

“We are saddened by the passing of Harry Morton, the founder and former owner of Pink Taco. Harry was a visionary and restaurateur ahead of his time, and his contributions, both professionally to our brand and personally to those he worked with, were numerous. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends during this difficult time.”

Morton descended from a family of hospitality and restaurant business owners. His father Peter Morton is the co-founder of the Hard Rock Cafe and hotel chain empire, and his grandfather Arnie Morton founded Morton’s The Steakhouse in 1978. Additionally, his brother Matthew is the co-founder of Cha Cha Matcha.

Previously, Harry owned The Viper Room in Los Angeles, a popular live music venue co-founded by Johnny Depp and 21 Jump Street costar Sal Jenco. In addition to founding Pink Taco in 1999 at the age of 18, Morton was also an investor in Beacher’s Madhouse.

Per TMZ, the entrepreneur was also dedicated to giving back to the local community. Harry was a volunteer sheriff’s deputy with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station and was recently honored as Reserve Detective of the Year. The station shared he had dedicated hundreds of hours annually in support of the station’s Detective Bureau.

In addition to Lohan, Harry was previously linked romantically to Paris Hilton, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, Hayden Panettiere, and Demi Moore.
