What is this all about? Why would she agree to this arrangement?
Earlier today, we reported that Lindsay Lohan’s team of lawyers had offered Dawn Holland, the Betty Ford Center worker Lindsay allegedly attacked, $25K for keeping her mouth shut and not pressing charges over what may or may not have happened that fateful night at the clinic.
Now, we’re hearing that LiLo’s people offered this woman ANOTHER sum of $$$, but supposedly it was to “help her out,” not keep her quiet. (Yeah, we’re not buying that either)
The supposed secret deal was for Lindsay to meet with Dawn and have a photog take pictures of them together. Then, they would sell the pictures off and Dawn could keep all the money from sales. It’s reported that had the plan gone off, Dawn stood to make $10K from the deal.
Seeing as this plan was hatched before Dawn decided not to pursue criminal charges against Lindsay, we imagine the Lindsay was really after getting in this woman’s good favor. You can see the appeal – giving this woman a bit of money and some media attention that would reflect positively on her gets the woman paid and Lindsay some good publicity.
But things didn’t work out as planned. For some reason, Lindsay’s business manager had them pull out of the deal. As you can imagine, that royally pissed off Dawn who felt Lindsay was “disrespecting” her.
Does this mean Dawn still might press charges against LiLo? Sure seems like she has a lot of ammunition to want to. She’s lost her job, her reputation and $35K because of this sitch. We have a feeling this woman’s going to be on the attack and soon!
Also, we really have to start questioning why Lindsay’s people were/are so adamant about keeping this woman quiet. What exactly does she know that we don’t? Why were they trying so hard to get on this woman’s good side?
