Lindsay Lohan Is Ready To Turn 30 & With No ‘Regrets’ -- But Here Are The Things She’d Change If She Could

Lindsay Lohan is ready for her next milestone!
Lindsay Lohan
is in a reflective mood ahead of her 30th birthday on Saturday.
So, it would only make sense that in a new interview with Vanity Fair, the Mean Girls starlet would reminisce on any “regrets” from the past 20 years in the biz… or even what she sees for her future!

But first, the beautiful redhead dished on turning the big 3-0:

“I feel great! Age is only a number, right? I have learned a lot over time. I am in a wonderful place in life and look forward to the near and far future and projects that I am working on.”

She even revealed she’s in the middle of writing a book!
While she didn’t share many details, Linds did tease what sounded like a self-help book:

“I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles. I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place. I am grateful that I have a voice, which I can now feel comfortable using as a platform to let people know that we all have ups and downs in life, and we can all come up from the downs if we get in touch with our inner self and spiritual side.”

Move aside, Khloé Kardashian, this 29-year-old could be the next bestselling author slash celeb!
Don’t expect her to talk regrets though because as she explained to VF:

“I wouldn’t call things regrets, per se. I can’t turn back time.”

IF she could though, she says:

“I would have listened more to my mother and gone back home to N.Y.C. earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely.”

Very interesting!
The actress even touched on it again when dishing what advice she would have given her younger Parent Trap self! Lindsay confessed:

“I can’t say that I would have listened then, haha. My mother taught me to always be humble, and that is something I live by still today, so I would say that. I would also probably say don’t go too fast. Pay attention to the people you surround yourself with and make sure they have honest intentions. Put yourself first, and just breathe. Be happy and always be grateful for the moment you have in front of you. Be here, now.”

Guess she really wishes she surrounded herself with different people over the years!
Luckily, it sounds like the New York-native is in a really good place right now. Even speaking of her future, she added her goals for the next decade:

“Making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot. Maybe having some of my own soon├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥after I get some movies done, first.”

ICYMI: Linds is maybe engaged to her boyfriend Egor Tarabasov.
We wonder if this means they’ll be settling down sometime soon!
