It all began with a photo on Instagram.

Little Mix attended the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in LA Saturday and seemed to have a good time, until they posted a pic (below) on their official IG account that had Jesy Nelson cropped out, with an explanation as to why.

Nevertheless, fans immediately lost it and the conspiracy theories started flying! Of course!

“Rumours that your splitting up├░┼╕╦£┬ó├░┼╕╦£┬óreally really hope it isn’t true ur my idols forever├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇô├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇô├░┼╕ΓÇÖΓÇô”
“I find it weird that Jesy wanted to be cut out because she apparently didn’t like any of the photos, but if you go on her insta there’s a photo of all 4 at Nickelodeon ??”
“Is Jesy pursuing her solo career?? @littlemix”
“Cropping out Jesy is shade and you know it”
“WTF and jess herself uploaded one ├░┼╕╦£ΓÇÜ├ó┬¥┬ñ”

Really, the girl group should’ve known better, but we all make mistakes. Even though they explained why Jesy was cropped out, fans weren’t buying it, especially when Jesy herself posted several shots from the red carpet on her personal IG. That seemed to suggest that she didn’t think she looked bad at all!
Fans commented about that also, implying Jesy and bandmate Perrie Edwards were having issues:

“Oh Loook @perrieedwards here’s the photo of @jesynelson that you said she didn’t like any of the photos !!!! Think you’ve been caught lying now……”
“I guess there’s something bad going on between jessy and Perry…..”

Moreover! Just before the posting of the cropped photo, an image (below) featuring all four girls was also shared on their account.

But maybe Jesy only thought she looked bad in that one particular photo where she was cropped out? But then why bother posting the image at all, instead of finding one where they all agreed they looked good? Okay, we are officially exhausted trying to figure this out.
Anyway, a rep for the group vehemently denied rumors of a feud to Buzzfeed, saying:

“This is absolute nonsense created out of nothing. There is no fall out whatsoever within Little Mix. We now sadly live in a world where stories are fabricated from Instagram photo posts.”

Indeed.
