Liza Minnelli Checks Into Rehab For Substance Abuse

Liza Minnelli has checked into a Malibu rehab facility, and is currently receiving treatment for substance abuse.

Liza’s rep confirmed that she’s making “excellent progress” so far, as she’s already been in the facility for several days, with her main problem being alcohol abuse.
The 69-year-old entertainer has previously been in rehab before, most recently in 2004, but Liza’s rep put it best:

“Liza has valiantly battled substance abuse over the years.”

Key word? Valiant. It’s brave to confront your addictions head on.
