Twitter Is Coming For A Girl Named Lizzie After She Allegedly Stole Her Classmate's Perfect Attendance Pencil!

Taylor perfect attendance pencil viral story

Twitter is ready to cancel an elementary school girl named Lizzie after she allegedly stole a pink Perfect Attendance Pencil from her classmate, Taylor James, and didn’t give it back after recess like she promised.

The social media outrage began when Taylor’s mom Tabitha shared a video of her daughter explaining the drama that went down this week at school. With a stern face, Taylor explained:

“Yesterday, I put my pink perfect attendance pencil in the sharpen box. I’m the only one who has the same type of those. I got it sharpened in the morning, but when I unpacked, I went to go get my pencil and guess what I saw? Nothing but yellow plain old pencils. I couldn’t find my perfect attendance pencil, which is the only pencil I turned in. So I had to take somebody else’s pencil because somebody, and I know who, stole my perfect attendance pencil.”

Thankfully, Taylor named the alleged pencil thief: some classmate named Lizzie.

Now, not only did Lizzie apparently take a pencil she clearly did not earn — as Taylor pointed out, Lizzie did NOT have perfect attendance because she went to Canada — this girl actually had the audacity to use Taylor’s pencil to do her morning work the next day!

Taylor tried to handle the situation diplomatically and calmly asked for her pencil back, but Lizzie wasn’t having it. The young girl continued:

“Today, I saw Lizzie using it on her morning work, and I was like Lizzie that’s my pencil. She was like, ‘Well it was in that box,’ and I was like, ‘Because I needed it sharpened.’ She was like, ‘It’s just a pencil,’ and I was like, ‘it’s my perfect attendance pencil.’”

By that point, other classmates started to rally behind Taylor. She continued:

“And then Reese jumped in and said, ‘Yeah she earned it. You didn’t earn it, you were in Canada.'”

Eventually, Taylor convinced Lizzie to give her the pencil back, but Lizzie conveniently “lost” the pencil in her desk. She told Taylor she would give it back after lunch, then again after recess; yet, as of the video posting, Taylor remains pink pencil-less.

While her mom tried to reassure her that it was just a pencil, Taylor reminded her that it was not just any ordinary pencil: it was a Perfect Attendance Pencil.

And Twitter seems to agree with her. Both “Lizzie” and “Perfect Attendance Pencil” were trending on the social site Friday morning, with users calling for justice.

Supporters tweeted the following:

“It’s not just a pencil it’s the principle. What’s her name and where can I send pencils to this baby, because everybody doing her wrong all the way around, #Lizzy, the teacher and mama.”

“it was never about the pencil… it was about Lizzie’s ass being a thief.”

“I’m bringing pink cupcakes that spell out PERFECT ATTENDANCE for all the kids in class… Except one… And Imma tell her it’s “just a cupcake” and she can enjoy her quinoa. FOH Lizzie.”
