Lizzo Scores Victory As Several Harassment Claims Dismissed Over THIS Technicality As She Vows To Keep ‘Fighting’ To Clear Her Name

Lizzo scored a major legal W this week.

As we’ve been following, several employees working for the Big Grrrl Big Tour company filed lawsuits against the Truth Hurts singer. Asha Daniels alleged sexual harassment, discrimination, unpaid wages, and more… But several of her claims got dismissed in California court on Monday because of a technicality.

According to legal docs obtained by Page Six, Judge Fernando L. Aenlle-Rocha granted a partial motion to dismiss many of Asha’s claims because they related to a time where she worked for the pop star on tour in Europe — outside the jurisdiction of US labor laws! Per the outlet, he claimed:

“These allegations do not establish plausibly that any portion of plaintiff’s claim arose from work performed in the United States or qualifying territories.”

Wow. That includes the banana bar sex show incident in Amsterdam, too, doesn’t it? Crazy that’s just done now.

The judge also noted that there was no evidence she accrued the overtime she claims she’s still waiting on pay for.

Oof! Lizzo 2, Asha 0.

An insider later told the New York Post the About Damn Time singer is determined to continue fighting the “false” claims and has no intention of settling:

“There’s a reason that Lizzo continues to fight long after most public figures would have settled — because these allegations are false and can’t be allowed to stand. She is not going to stop fighting until every single one of these ridiculous smears is dismissed.”

We’ll just have to wait and see how everything pans out! Thoughts, Perezcious readers??
