Because Lorde is officially gifting her signature goth-glam looks to the public — through an epic MAC cosmetics collaboration!
The Royals singer tweeted on Monday:

While her tweet doesn├óΓé¼Γäót give a whole lot of info, we’re pretty certain her line will include some ultra-dark lip shades at the very least.
She dished about her longtime love for MAC in a recent interview, gushing:
“I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too.”
While some see the move as a sell-out for the independent young Kiwi, Lorde worked with MAC senior artist Amber Dreadon to create her dramatic dark purple lip at the Grammys. It’s also the makeup she’s using on tour (see her tour face chart above)!
Additionally, just as Lorde loves MAC’s aesthetic, fans love hers — so this is a natural next step for her!!!
