Now with all of Hollywood’s dirty laundry being aired out, studios want us to know that they absolutely do not tolerate sexual misconduct.
But how can an industry that has silently ignored and systematically perpetuated such alleged predatory behavior for decades suddenly absolve itself of any wrongdoings? Well, punishing those who’ve been caught is a good start…

The Orchard made the decision to scrap the release of Louis C.K.‘s new film I Love You, Daddy — a Woody Allen-esque dramedy about a man whose underage daughter dates a producer in his late 60s — in the wake of the sexual misconduct allegations coming out against the comedian.
Following a New York Times report in which five women accused the actor of pressuring them to watch or listen as he masturbated, the indie film company producing the film said in a statement:
“The Orchard will not be moving forward with the release of ├óΓé¼╦£I Love You, Daddy.'”
Probably a smart move, given the film could have been just as easily been titled “Pervs In The City“!
But the comedian’s fall from grace isn’t stopping there. Netflix has also decided to scrap a planned stand-up special with C.K. due to the “disturbing” allegations. A rep for the streamer said in a statement:
“The allegations made by several women in The New York Times about Louis C.K.’s behavior are disturbing. Louis’s unprofessional and inappropriate behavior with female colleagues has led us to decide not to produce a second stand up special, as had been planned.”
Finally, ramifications!
Another actor whose projects have suffered due to recent misconduct accusations is Ed Westwick, whose drama Ordeal by Innocence has been pulled from the BBC‘s schedule while he deals with a police investigation.

That’s not all. In the wake of multiple women accusing the Gossip Girl alum of forcing himself on them (which he has denied), the production company behind his White Gold series says the actor has “paused from filming.”
A spokesperson for the BBC issued a statement on the “serious allegations,” saying:
“These are serious allegations which Ed Westwick has strenuously denied. The BBC is not making any judgement but until these matters are resolved we will not include ├óΓé¼╦£Ordeal by Innocence’ in the schedules. The independent production company making ├óΓé¼╦£White Gold’ has informed us that Ed Westwick has paused from filming while he deals with these allegations.”
