Love Is Blind star Hannah Jiles won’t make this mistake twice! Warning! Spoilers ahead about the new season ahead…
At the beginning of Season 7 of the Netflix reality show, Hannah is in a messy love triangle with Nick Dorka and Leo Braudy while in the pods. She ultimately chooses Nick. He pops the question before they even meet face-to-face, and she says yes! However, their love was put to the test during a getaway to Mexico.
The couple got into an argument when Nick rode an inflatable duck with another woman. Hannah thought her fiancé was disrespectful after he was too “touchy” with her. And then started laughing when the female tourist began making fun of her. Not cool, dude! Oof! Following that incident, Hannah decided to write out a bullet point list of red flags she saw in Nick — including concerns about his “maturity,” cockiness, and more. She even called him “delulu” — or delusional!
Seems prudent tbh. Unfortunately, while the 27-year-old never meant for her man to see the list, he found it! All because she accidentally left it out by their bed! Yikes!

Nick confronted her, and they ended up having a heart-to-heart over the matter. Hannah admitted she has “concerns” about their relationship they need to “address” before saying “I Do.” That is IF they even make it to the altar! Netflix only dropped the first batch of episodes, so we won’t find out what happens to Nick and Hannah until Wednesday. Ugh! While everyone waits for the rest of the episodes, Hannah is addressing that list…
In an interview with People on Thursday, she explained she only meant to write down feelings about Nick after the situation with the other woman. It was for her eyes and her eyes only, and she never planned to leave it out for Nick to see what she wrote! Hannah said:
“I did not mean to. Listen, that list was a rough draft. Okay? I’m the type of person who writes all her emotions down and the little incident of Nick with the lady and that [duck], it wasn’t a big deal but I see things that could potentially be a problem, so these are the red flags maybe or flaws I see.”
Hey, better to recognize the red flags now before it’s too late and you go through a whole wedding! No one wants to have to deal with a messy divorce!
According to Hannah, while the list did contained a bunch of Nick’s flaws, it wasn’t complete — it was supposed to be a pros-and-cons sort of deal! However, she never got the chance to write down all the positives about her beau before he found the list:
“I didn’t get to the green flags yet and I had just wrote in my notebook, put it to the side. It was literally under leaves, so you couldn’t see it. And I was going to come back to it, but I did not get the chance, but it’s okay. He found it and I said, ‘Okay, we’re doing this, let’s address it.’”
At least they both addressed it head-on! What does Nick have to say about the list, though? He told People it was very “confusing” even though he knows “people express themselves in different ways.” He added:
“I’d gotten done with an interview. I went back to the room and Hannah went to her interview and the note was beside the bed. And so I saw it, and I was a little confused because we had done a good job of talking face to face about any problems or issues we had.”
Not this time — at least not at first! However, Nick “understood where she was coming from and tried to work on all of those bullet points.” Hey, that’s great! He continued:
“I didn’t think [the duck incident] was that big of a deal. But then I started to see her doing those things and harping on those issues and I was trying to work on that for her.”
Did he put in enough work? Did that list help their relationship in the end? We guess we’ll see! What are YOUR thoughts about the list, Perezcious readers? Do you think Hannah and Nick will end up together? Sound OFF (below)!
