One of the stars from the most recent season of Love Island USA is in big trouble with the law!
According to police documents obtained by multiple outlets, Hannah Smith was arrested and charged with two felonies in Georgia last month: willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer and terroristic threats. Whoa!
Per The US Sun, the 27-year-old reality star was at the Coca-Cola Roxy in Atlanta on September 30, where Gracie Abrams was performing as part of her The Secret of Us tour. And Hannah got a little out of hand during her night out…
The arresting officer wrote in the warrant Gracie was “getting escorted out of The Roxy and the Orange deck for being disorderly” at 11:00 p.m. An incident report obtained by The US Sun said Emergency Medical Staff accompanied police after being called by Roxy security due to Hannah “yelling and screaming” while “intoxicated.” The report continued:
“While walking in the Orange Deck out of the first floor Smith punched the EMS staff member making contact on her right arm. The staff worker advised she did not want to press charges.”
However, that wasn’t the end of the alleged violence from Hannah. While trying to get her to her Uber, per the warrant, she attempted to punch the cop “with a closed fist.” The officer noted “she did not make contact,” which is good for her in retrospect. Obviously not a smart move, as the officer then had to place her under arrest. Even in handcuffs, the cop said, Hannah “attempted to kick me multiple times.” And the situation even escalated from there. The warrant claims Hannah “did threaten to commit a crime of violence,” adding:
“While said accused was being transported to Cobb County Adult Detention Center she stated she was going to kill me and my sister multiple times with the purpose of terrorizing said victim.”
OMG…
Hence “terroristic threats.” Damn. The incident report claimed Hannah went on to make “multiple statements about a podcast and her fans”:
“Smith then proceeded to talk as if she was on a podcast or speaking to someone on her phone. When we arrived to the jail Smith refused to exit the vehicle until the person in my passenger seat was also taken out of the vehicle and placed under arrest. I advised to her that no one was in the front seat of the vehicle, however Smith still refused to exit the vehicle.”
Ultimately, the incident led to the two felony charges. Hannah was released on $8,000 bail the next day. Per The Sun, the terms of her bond included no alcohol consumption, marijuana, or drugs, and she must “submit to random alcohol/drug tests at her own expense.” While the television personality has not addressed the arrest, she has continued to post on social media as if nothing happened! Well, it looks like she isn’t sweating her legal drama — or at least she’s trying to act like she isn’t! Reactions, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments!
