It looks like the government of Pawnee is about to get a lot more Lawless!
Lucy Lawless is slated to guest star on at least two episodes of the upcoming season of Parks And Recreation!
It may seem like a far cry from the gratuitous nudity and graphic violence of Spartacus, but who knows? Maybe NBC is shaking things up a bit.
The Aussie actress is excited to be on the acclaimed show. She tweeted:
“Ahhhhleleleleleleleleeeeya!”
No, wait, that’s Xena‘s warcry. She ACTUALLY tweeted:
“I am so thrilled to work with the #ParksandRecreation crew. I am always amazed by the Acting and writing. It’s kooky, ironic and elegant.”
More eloquent sure, but the first one had a kind of charming directness…
Anyway, we’re excited too! Who else could be a match for Ron Swanson’s sheer damn manliness than a warrior princess??
Ooh! And Amy Poehler could be the new Gabrielle! It all makes sense!
