Luigi Mangione has a message for his supporters!
In a message on his new website, which was set up to be a hub for all information regarding his legal case, the 26-year-old murder suspect thanked his followers for their continued support.
As Perezcious readers know, the general public is pretty divided on what to think of him amid allegations he fatally shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City in December. Some consider him a terrorist for allegedly going after the CEO to make a statement. But others — having dealt with the struggles of insurance companies — think he deserves praise. They consider this fighting back against greedy CEOs who are slowly killing tens of thousands. It’s been complicated!

Lately, though, his supporters have certainly been proving just how loyal they are. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Luigi accepted a donation of more than $301,000 from fans. Whoa!
Now, he’s opening up in a brief statement to share his gratitude for all those who have come to his defense throughout this legal ordeal, writing on the website for his defense on Friday:
“I am overwhelmed by – and grateful for – everyone who has written me to share their stories and express their support. Powerfully, this support has transcended political, racial, and even class divisions, as mail has flooded MDC from across the country, and around the globe. While it is impossible for me to reply to most letters, please know that I read every one that I receive. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to write. I look forward to hearing more in the future.”
Well, then. He may be locked up, but it doesn’t sound like he’s feeling very alone in this. You can see the site HERE.
