Time to face the judge, Mac Miller…
This week, according to TMZ, the rapper was officially charged with two counts of driving under the influence for that nasty May car accident he caused (and fled from) after his breakup from Ariana Grande.
The L.A. City Attorney’s Office has officially charged Miller with both driving under the influence, and driving with a BAC at 0.08 or higher (yes, those are separate charges), for which he’ll now make his way through the court system.

City prosecutors cut the artist a huge break, though — they did NOT charge him with hit and run, even though that was one of the original offenses he’d been arrested for back in May.
Still some serious legal wrangling to be done here. If convicted, Miller faces up to six months in jail along with a fine — but at least charges have been somewhat minimized.
This appears to be the rapper’s first DUI offense, too, so it’s possible the state will give him the penalty of many first-time offenders: probation, community service, and a license suspension.
We’ll keep you updated as Miller continues to wind through the court system…
