Scotch is delicious, especially when it’s rare — and someone just bought one of the rarest bottles of all: the most expensive single malt scotch EVER sold at an auction!
So how much did the six-litre bottle of Macallan ‘M’ go for? Well, it WAS in a crystal decanter… so we suppose that $628,205 is a reasonable price!
Wait, WHAT??
It even went above the expected range of $258,000 to $516,000! The last record was in 2010 for a 64 year-old bottle of Macallan that went for $460k, but it in the end it ain’t one of the four Imperiale ├óΓé¼┼ôM├óΓé¼┬¥ Decanters that were ever made by the Scottish distillery.
Sold by Sotheby’s, the proceeds went to a few Hong Kong charities!
Holy shizz!
We wonder if it tastes awful. LOLz!
