Macklemore Uninjured After Scary Collision With An Alleged Drunk Driver!

Macklemore must be counting his blessings right about now!
We mean, the Thrift Shop rapper could’ve been seriously injured on Friday when an alleged drunk driver in a pickup truck drove straight into his Mercedes. Thankfully, the hitmaker walked away from the situation unscathed. Phew!

It’s said the collision took place just before 11 p.m. in Langley, WA — which is a small, island town just north of Seattle. Per reports, it’s believed that the drunk driver drove head on into Macklemore while rounding a bend. Eek.
According to police, the driver wasn’t wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and, in result, the unnamed culprit smashed his head into the windshield. He was found unconscious and bleeding following the accident. When interviewed by the cops, the reckless driver revealed he had a drink “awhile back.” Although he didn’t share how much he consumed, he said his last drink was at “5 o’clock.” Huh.
The driver was then taken to a local hospital for medical treatments. Nonetheless, the Washington State Police says he WILL be charged with a DUI.
As for Macklemore and his two passengers, they walked away from the scene relatively uninjured. One victim was treated for a minor cut — but that’s it. We’re just happy to hear no one was SERIOUSLY injured. Remember drinking and driving is a crime, folks!
