The Martha Stewart vs. Macy’s legal dramz won’t quit!!!
Stewart├óΓé¼Γäós company Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc has asked a NY Supreme Court justice to force Macy’s CEO Terry Lundgren to testify as part of the ongoing legal battle starting back in January.
Macy├óΓé¼Γäós is doing all they can to keep this from happening and quickly fired back that the request is “unreasonable and untimely.”
The retailer also argues the CEO wouldn├óΓé¼Γäót be of any help since he “possesses no unique” information that is ├óΓé¼┼ômaterial and necessary in this action.”
Additionally, Macy’s claims Martha should already have ENOUGH info after taking depositions from four Macy’s employees involved in the case.
Stewart is demanding that Lundgren testifies before May 18, causing Macy├óΓé¼Γäós to call the urgency of the request “disingenuous at best.”
DAYUM!!! That’s only TWO weeks away but we have a feeling the judge may side with Martha on this one and make Terry speak!
