Macy's Spending $400m To Renovate Herald Square Store!

Located in Manhattan, the Macy’s Herald Square location is the red star’s mothership.
And business execs are willing to invest $400 million into its renovation, hoping to expand the department store’s already massive shopping experience.
Beginning next Spring and aiming to reach completion in 2015, this new Macy’s promises to offer 1.2 million square feet of selling space, the largest shoe collection featuring 300,000 pairs a day, and a total of 22 restaurants strategically placed among the racks and shelves.

This expansion will also ensure 800 new jobs, seeing the total number of employees rise to 4,600. Yowza.
