Mad Men Creator Goes To The Big Screen

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner is underway with his first feature film, You Are Here. Sources have just confirmed that the film should be going into production shortly with Jack Black, Matt Dillon and Renee Zellweger in the starring roles. (That’s after Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Jennifer Aniston reportedly pulled out! Whomp, whomp!)
The whole is centric around two friends in their 30s who have little direction in their lives. That is, until on of their father’s dies and leaves him the family business to take over.
Normally, we would say it sounds like another run-of-the-Hollywood-mill movie, but with Matt’s track record on Mad, we think he might not disappoint.
