She will always be the goddess of our universe, but just because you├óΓé¼Γäóre Madonna doesn├óΓé¼Γäót mean you├óΓé¼Γäóre REALLY the queen …especially when it comes to politics!
You see, the queen of pop might have crossed a few lines while she was visiting Malawi during a goodwill trip when writing to request a meeting with their President.
For starters, Madge addressed President Joyce Banda as “Dear Joyce.”
And no, they’re not old buddies.
While this informality might seem minor to some, she continues by simply congratulating her on her “new position,” an action many feel was a sign of stunted respect as President Banda is the FIRST female leader in the nation.
The always-changing singer went on to misspell responsibility as she wrote “responsability.”
Long story short, she eventually requested a little visit which was shot down as the President was too busy to vogue meet. Uh oh…
An insider revealed Madge’s request:
“If you have any time in your busy schedule to meet that would be great if not you know I am here to be of service and continue to do what I can to support the children of Malawi!”
We├óΓé¼Γäóre sure Madonna isn├óΓé¼Γäót too used to someone being too busy to meet her, and we’re also sure Madonna might have been treating her so casually because perhaps she wanted to extend as much warmth as possible — something formalities lack, albeit make up for in respect.
But, if the President of Malawi can’t make time, have no fear, we’re here!
No need to even send a letter requesting a meeting. Just show up!
