Travis Kelce feels so bad about this mix-up with Billy Eichner!
When asked whether he gave a damn about Travis and Taylor Swift‘s upcoming wedding during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday, the 47-year-old comedian revealed he bumped into the couple at Madonna‘s Oscars party in March and got an apology from the Kansas City Chiefs tight end! Why, you ask? He apparently made a little embarrassing mistake with the Parks and Recreation alum! Billy recalled:
“I saw them recently at Madonna’s Oscar party. There was the famous story from a few years ago, where at Madonna’s party, Travis came up to me, which was shocking. I don’t know them. I know who they are.”

Travis also knew of Billy, but not enough to get his name right! You know his popular show, Billy on the Street? It turns out the football player called it “Jimmy on the Street” to Billy’s face! Oh no! LOLz! The actor said:
“And he said, ‘Jimmy on the Street! I love you, man,’ and he was beaming when he said it. I couldn’t bring myself to correct him because he’s Travis Kelce, he’s like, eight feet tall and Taylor Swift is standing right there, so I’m not going to be like, ‘Actually, it’s Billy.'”
Well, Travis eventually realized his mistake! Billy continued:
“Two years passed, I went to Madonna’s party…and Travis came right up to me and I was like, I’m not gonna bother him again, we had our moment, it was very funny, and then he came up to me and he was like, ‘I have to apologize, I called you Jimmy.’ I was like, ‘No, Travis, it was the best story ever and I said he has to do Billy on the Street with me, so hopefully that happens.”
