Make It Rains

Traver Rains, the co-founder and former creative director of Heatherette, just told us about his new line, T.Rains.
The designer, who recently took some time off to work on his photography, is debuting the line with The Men’s Room, his cool collection of silkscreened tees, tanks, and hoodies. In keeping with his cowboy style, the collection has a retro western feel, employing 60s pop art and images from his own photography.
The designer said, “My idea with this collection is to cross pollinate photography and tees- each tends to inspire the other. The cowboy thing is obvious, but I also felt like adding some sex and roughness to it – both in images and design. I’m going for conversation pieces – something to attract a bit of attention.”
