The super funny Amy Sedaris has just signed a deal to create, write and star in a comedy series project that will be produced by 20th Century Fox TV.
It will be co-produced by David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the comedienne and her writing partner, Strangers With Candy alum Paul Dinello, are “fleshing out” the premise for the show, which is based on an idea Sedaris came up with about six years ago.
While the show will be scripted, there will be room for her to showcase her improv skills.
So we’re expecting a load of laughs!
Sedaris said, “It just seemed the right time to do it now.”
Amy and crew still need to sell the networks on her show, so who knows when we will finally see it on air.
