Malika Haqq is taking heat for her post-pregnancy plans!
Khloé Kardashian‘s BFF opened up about her decision to undergo plastic surgery after giving birth to her first child with a new picture posted to Instagram on Tuesday. And perhaps not surprisingly, she caught a TON of backlash from social media commenters in the aftermath of her post!

As you can see (below), the 36-year-old mom-to-be announced her intention to get her post-baby bod back on track with a little help from Dr. Jason Diamond, a plastic surgeon to the stars:

Wow! Well that’s one way to bounce back from pregnancy, for sure — it should make for quite the mommy makeover!

Except, well, the commenter community wasn’t exactly super supportive of Malika’s desire to go under the knife on this one. “Really,” one follower wrote in the comment section, “if you can’t accept the marks that come along with having a baby then you shouldn’t be a mom. So sad to hear this. What a shallow life.”
Another Instagrammer added more, writing:
“To schedule plastic surgery before even seeing what your body will be like after birth? Someone help this peasant understand.”
Dying at that “peasant” comment… we are right there with you! Ha!! And a third followed up with a criticism of the star’s desire for a “quick fix”:
“Is this serious? The idea that working to get your body back after having a baby is too much makes me nauseous. The ‘quick fix’ is just so ridiculous.”
Nauseous?! Dayumm!!!
Still, others called out Haqq’s desire to short-cut her post-baby body work in a most positive way, like one commenter who was determined to see the good in the physical changes that come with pregnancy:
“You look like you’re all belly. No need for the plastic surgery. Love those battle wounds your baby gave you.”
Awww! That’s a great way to look at it! And finally, one reaction acknowledged Malika’s openness about the whole thing:
“At least you are honest! Mommy makeover ready ?.”
Honest, indeed! Can’t criticize her for hiding the work being done, that’s for sure. Where do U come down on this one, Perezcious readers?
