Following her beary epic baby shower thrown by BFF Khloé Kardashian, Malika Haqq is opening up about raising her son.

Though it was initially unclear who the father of her child was when the 36-year-old first announced her pregnancy back in September, it was confirmed at the lavish affair (see the photos HERE) the daddy is her ex-boyfriend O.T. Genasis.

Late Wednesday evening, the Sky High star wrote (below) on her Instagram along with a photo of the rapper from the party:

“Relationships don’t always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon. I’ve been single the last 8months but I am in no way alone.”

Obviously, the momma-to-be has the support of twin sister Khadijah Haqq McCray, who has little ones of her own, plus Khloé who is mother to toddler True Thompson, but she also has her ex’s help:

“OT and I have attended every doctors apt and over all loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival. My priority over the past few months has been to nurture and protect my unborn child. Our baby would not be who he is without his father and I thank God for the spirit that grows inside of me. Only thing that matters, we are Baby Flores parents.”

So sweet!! If you weren’t already aware, Malika and the CoCo rapper — born Odis Flores — split around June 2019 after about two years together. Despite being broken up, Haqq clearly could not be more grateful for her upcoming arrival. Her reality star bestie captured Malika’s emotional speech at the baby shower, in which she thanked Odis:

“Everything within this room basically knows my journey and how bad I wanted [this baby]. This is the reason why I didn’t want anyone else to speak because I knew I would cry if anyone else said to me what was on their heart. Whether you brought me lunch or called me or texted me… I’m incredibly thankful to Odis Flores for my little boy.”

Though she’s thankful for Flores, she also expressed gratitude for the uplifting women in her circle:

“I also realized that sharing my heart with you guys would be equally as emotional. I have nothing against co-ed baby showers, but I will say the reason why I wanted a baby shower full of women was because it’s you women that helped me get through this pregnancy 100%.”

We can’t wait for the arrival of her bundle of joy!!
