Well, we guess we know who True Thompson‘s best friend is going to be now!
Malika Haqq is pregnant!
The KUWTK star made the announcement on Instagram Friday, sharing the good news in a rather unusual — and profitable — way.

She wrote:
“I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant! I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine.”
But then she ALSO added (or should we say AD-ed):
“Thank you, @Clearblue for being a CLEAR and intricate part of the most important test result of my life. 2020 baby! #ClearblueConfirmed #ClearbluePartner”
Yep. It was an ad. An ad-nouncement.
Not that we’re judging! Get that money, gurl, diapers ain’t cheap!

Malika’s bestie Khloé Kardashian commented on her BFF’s good news, writing on Instagram:
“Congratulations Mika May!!!!! I am so beyond overwhelmed with love and happiness!!!! God is GREAT!!!! We are all so blessed!!!! I love you and baby madly.”
Awww!
Malika also spoke to People about her bundle of joy, saying:
“I have always wanted to be a mother and it’s still a little bit surprising but I’m overjoyed! I’m a very emotional person anyway, but this is another heightening of emotion… I feel really good about where I am in my life being pregnant now.”
That’s great news!
The thing is, we aren’t exactly sure where she is in her life right now — relationship-wise we mean.
Back in June, we first learned Malika had broken up with her longtime boyfriend, rapper O.T. Genasis.
After she announced she was “single” with a sexy thirst trap of an Instagram post, a source confirmed the news of the breakup to People, saying the breakup was not acrimonious but rather more about where they were at in their lives. The insider said “it was hard for them both give 100 percent.”
The source stated unequivocally:
“There’s no bad blood between them. She is for sure single.”
Huh.
No bad blood, eh? So now we have to wonder if there was any other bodily fluid between them.
What, YOU aren’t curious who the baby daddy is?
For the moment, Malika is keeping that information private, instead choosing to focus on the story of how she found out — with her paid partner, Clearblue.
The actress tells People she first found out thanks to her partnership with the company. Wait, the deal with the pregnancy test makers came before the pregnancy?? So this was something she was planning then?
Actually she says it was “shocking” to find out. Hmm…
Innerestingly, Malika thought for a moment she was blessed with twins due to a misleading ultrasound in which the echo of a heartbeat sounded like two. She said she was relieved it wasn’t true:
“I would love to have twins, just not my first pregnancy. It would’ve been cute, but it was also nice to find out that the first one out is just a single.”
Malika is a twin herself, of course.
Apart from that temporary misgiving, there have been no other hiccups in her pregnancy journey. She isn’t even getting morning sickness!
“I have been incredibly blessed. I have not been sick a day. Not one day. That, for me, has probably been the thing I’ve been so grateful for thus far — coming second to knowing that I have a healthy baby.”
She probably doesn’t have morning sickness because she used Clearblue — that’s Clearblue (TM)! Available at all major drug store chains!
Now who do we speak to about that check?
So what else do we know? Kind of a lot, actually.
Malika has revealed the baby is due in March (meaning it was conceived in June — was she was still dating O.T. or had that quietly ended before?), so she’s far enough along she was able to learn the sex already:
“Learning the baby’s sex was a big deal for me and now I feel like I have time. I have time to think about nursery ideas, to think about a name. I’m just really enjoying now, getting to a point where I can celebrate being pregnant and [it] not being a secret.”
Malika may still be single (she isn’t saying), but she has an AMAZING support system around her.
Her own mother, her sister Khadijah (who is already a mother of three), and of course her BFF Khloé, who beat her to the mom game by almost two years. She says:
“I have really amazing models [for] the type of mother I want to be, but I also know that I need to mother my baby the way my baby requires to be mothered. A lot of my disciplines and morals and values, that just comes from my mother, the way I was raised, and those are the things that I plan on implementing… but I definitely want to build the kind of mother that I am based around the child that I have.”
Sounds like she’s going to be a great mom to us!
And a great spokesperson for Clearblue (TM)! LOLz!
