This man does NOT want to make his pet ducks fly away!
Jim Kistler is fighting tooth and nail to keep his four Blue Swedish ducks with him in Dumont, Pennsylvania despite the fact that his town says they plan on fining him if he doesn’t get rid of his feathered friends.
The duck owner says he got a notice from his town’s local officials that says having his ducks is a violation, and he will be fined $500 per day for each day he keeps his ducks.
But instead of even thinking of getting rid of them – Kistler plans on paying up to keep his ducks!
Here are Kistler’s thoughts on the apparent rules he’s breaking:
├óΓé¼┼ôFrankly, how can anyone tell you what kind of pet you can have! It├óΓé¼Γäós not easy to deal with. It is absolutely ridiculous. I am very upset about it.”
Kistler says he will attend a hearing later in the month that hopefully will determine the fate of his ducks.
In case you were wondering, he’s named his pet ducks – Larry, Moe, Curly and Fred!
They should let him keep those ducks based off those names alone!
