First off, you may notice that this leopard is in a small cage.
We want to assure you, we did some research and this cat lives at Cedar Cove, a non-profit organization that is “devoted to the care and preservation of endangered large cats while educating the public on their behavior, physiology, habitats and the threats & dangers of extinction.”
The cats have large enclosures to run in and get daily one-on-one time with expert keepers, to enrich their lives and make them feel comfortable.
A good example would be this video of a morning kitty massage by senior keeper Steve Klein.
Voodoo the leopard is in kitty heaven!!
Just listen to him purring like that! It’s so intense!
Even though this cat is loving it, just the bassy, deepness of his purrrrr is enough to send us running for the hills!
