We think Apple’s Siri actually might be a little too helpful.
A man, Pedro Bravo, who is being accused of murdering his roommate in Florida allegedly told Siri on his iPhone that he needed to hide his roommate!
Hmm well that’s NOT conspicuous.
Of course, Siri joked around in her response:
“What kind of place are you looking for? Swamps? Reservoirs? Metal foundries? Dumps?”
Nice job, Siri! Way to give him some sweet, murderous ideas.
Pedro is charged with drugging his roommate Christian Aguilar and then strangling him, after having a spat over Pedro’s ex-girlfriend. Apparently, Christian had started dating her, and Pedro allegedly turned to violence over that.
Apparently, detectives who had been reviewing Pedro’s phone found that he had used his flashlight nine times on the night of September 20th, 2012, and the location of the iPhone at the time doesn’t synch up to where Pedro said he was.
The iPhone never lies!
Christian’s remains were discovered three weeks later, sixty miles away from Gainesville.
But wait, does that make Siri an accomplice?
