Wow, this is so sad.
You may remember Wesley Warren, aka The Man With The 132 Lb. Scrotum, who had his own TLC special – and then later had the scrotum removed when a doctor at UC Irvine performed the surgery on him for free last summer.
At 49 years old, we hate to report, that he sadly passed away on Friday at the University Medical Center.
He had been hospitalized for the last five-and-a-half weeks due to infections from his diabetes, and then he died as a result of two heart attacks.
His medical condition is called scrotal lymphedema, which caused his scrotum to swell 3 pounds every month and he was unable to urinate or have sex normally, and would use hooded sweatshirts as a makeshift sling.
TLC released a statement, saying:
“TLC is saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Wesley. He was a lovely man who bravely told his story, and we share our condolences with his family and friends.”
Our thoughts are also with Mr. Warren’s family and friends during this difficult time.
