Manny Pacquiao Defends Anti-Gay Marriage Comments

Manny Pac Gay
Well, that didn’t take long.
Boxer Manny Pacquiao is denying that he quoted the Bible when he was asked about President Obama‘s support of gay marriage, and that the original publication is lying about it.
He has been getting a LOT of flak for it, even being banned from places like The Grove in El Lay.
Boxing champ Manny Pacquiao has come out swinging against reports that he made anti-gay comments in a recent interview, saying it was a lie the publication made up.
Manny isn’t just a boxer, though, he’s also a devout Catholic and a Congressman in his homeland of the Philippines, along with being super married (even though he’s been linked to be less devout in his marriage as he is a Catholic).
Here’s what he’s saying now:

“I didn’t say that, that’s a lie…I didn’t know that quote from Leviticus because I haven’t read the Book of Leviticus yet. I’m not against gay people… I have a relative who is also gay. We can’t help it if they were born that way. What I’m critical of are actions that violate the word of God. I only gave out my opinion that same sex marriage is against the law of God.”

What he doesn’t seem to understand is that being against equal rights for any reason is STILL being intolerant of those who are being discriminated against, regardless of your reasons! ESPECIALLY if you’re in a position of influence!
Also, double especially if you’ve been linked in reports to a Filipina actress named Krista Ranillo while you’re still married under “the law of God.”
So wrong!
