Former Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has bravely revealed her battle with anal cancer and admitted that she is now 100% healthy again.

The actress shared the initial news that she had cancer after posting a photo of her with very short hair (above) and writing:
“So grateful and happy to be alive but sad that my hair fell out and is about 1 inch long now and looks cra cra. Anyone else have #hairloss due to #cancer? Talk to me. I feel you.”
Fans were naturally concerned about her health after that post, prompting the 56-year-old to clarify her cancer status:

Marcia then posted a longer comment explaining how liberated and free she feels now that she can finally share the truth with the world.
